Healing Potion
Initially I drew up a more intricate design for the bottle involving grooves along the bottle's sides for better grip but then realized that if this product was mass produced having a solid design would be quicker and easier to produce. Then proceeded to give it an Old West feel that eventually resulted in the final product.
The Final product. Admittedly I tried to make the base glow but then I realized the bottle itself was originally dark so decided to give it some extra shadows for good measure. Now I can scratch graphic design and bottle design off my list of commissions.
As the product is a fast healing liquid I decided to add a medical cross behind the lightning bolt and then proceeded with the text. Simple and self-explanatory I decided to give the text some effects just to pop out more.
Next I made a slight adjustment to the label and gave it a lightning logo based on the Flash because it fits with the general motif of the product.
Added in a better liquid designs and bubble pattern for good measure and the gave it an Inner Glow. End result a shinier liquid than initial design.
Initial Final Design until Client wanted something different.
Didn't like how dark everything was and happily made it brighter when asked.
Initial design for liquid, didn't like it so went back and fixed it after.
Initial label design went with a parchment like appearance.
Next section involved beveling, shadows, patterns, and inner glow to create a reflective surface.
Went with a bright orange design initially because I wanted to but realized it worked very well with the final product.
Began the day with a commission for a rejuvenation and healing liquid.
