Revenant Insertion Pod

Due to the nature of the ITT-21 simply dropping off a squad of troops via a standard combat landing is quite simple. The preferred method however is far more complicated and consists of the Pod being dropped from the transport and left behind. Each Pod in turn can be converted into a bunker or emergency shelter should the need arise.

In addition the cables utilized to control troop deployment can also be launched approximately a mile in the air and deploy a specially made balloon system that will carry the two ton pod into the air for what is known as a "Skyhook". The process itself is thankfully simple and involves a pilot of a Revenant to drop their Primary Module in order to make room for the Insertion Pod. Once the pilot swings by within six feet of the magnet sockets the Revenant's systems would kick in and immediately attach and stabilize the pod into a secure position. The process itself can be completed with four cables or more.

Lightweight and capable of even withstanding an airstrike the Insertion Pod is one of the many modules created for use on the Revenant and has quickly become the preferred transport for Special Operations.
